Summary: In Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) has shown to be a cost-effective remedial strategy for organic contaminants in groundwater and soil. Permanganate is typically the “go-to” product for chlorinated solvent treatment but did you know it can be used to treat other contaminants of concern such as: polyaromatic hydrocarbons, phenolic compounds, energetics, and 1,4-Dioxane? Our remediation grade permanganates, RemOx® S and RemOx® L ISCO reagent and variations of the products, allow for Simplified Science®, the skill or technique for easier implementation. In addition to permanganates, Carus offers OBCTM (Oxygen BioChem) for short term ISCO and longer-term biological oxidation.
